Virgil Abloh's IKEA x Off-White Collection to Release on November 1st, 2019

This week, IKEA and Virgil Abloh announced the release of their next highly anticipated collaborative collection. Abloh is the CEO of Off-White, and Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton's men's wear collection.

IKEA announced that on November 1st, they will be releasing the next pieces from their IKEA x Off-White Collection. This collection has been highly anticipated ever since the launch of the IKEA x Off-White Rug from the 2019 IKEA Art Collection back in May.

This new collection consists of rugs and furniture that “celebrates a classic minimalist design and builds on artistic references and disruptive elements," as stated from the press release.

I am extremely excited for this collection as I participated in the release of the the 2019 Art Collection in May. The release in May brought elements of popular sneaker releases to the world of design at IKEA's stores nationwide, by having overwhelming demand for the release, where some customers waited outside of their local IKEA stores for over 12 hours, waiting to make a purchase.
